Police have arrested Sahil, the accused who brutally killed a 16-year-old girl in Delhi's slum cluster in Rohdina's Shahabad dairy area on Monday. The entire murder incident was caught on CCTV.
The accused stabbed her more than 20 times before repeatedly hitting her head on a heavy cement slab. The name of the deceased is known to be Shakshi.
Regarding the incident, Delhi Police informed that the accused Sahil and the deceased were in a relationship but yesterday there was a fight between them. The deceased was planning to attend his friend's son's birthday party when the accused stopped him and stabbed him multiple times.
A police official said that the victim was a resident of JJ Colony and was in a relationship with Sahil but they had an argument recently.
Delhi Deputy Commissioner Suman Nalwa told ANI, "A case of murder was reported in Shahabad Diary PS limits yesterday. A team has been formed and investigation is on. The accused has been identified. We will arrest him soon." .
Meanwhile, politics has started with the BJP calling the incident 'Kerala Story Reality'.
