The post was shared on 28 May 2023 when Binesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and himself were detained for the inauguration of the new Parliament building. The wrestlers were arrested for violating law and order.

They broke the security line during the "Mahila Maha Panchayat" called in conjunction with the wrestlers protesting against Jantar Mantra.

Despite efforts to prevent it, a clash broke out between protesters and police officers. In the video, two female policemen are seen taking a woman away from the protest site.
Superintendent of Police Ambala said that no permission has been given for the "Mahila Maha Panchayat" to be held in Delhi. Also, the police detained a large number of farmers at the Haryana-Punjab border near Ambala.

Why are wrestlers protesting?
Wrestlers protested and called for the arrest of Brij Bhushan Singh, president of the Wrestling Federation of India.

The arrested protesters were kept in a temporary jail in Burari, Delhi. They were also taken for a medical check-up at 5:30 pm. Leading wrestler Sakshi Malik claimed that the wrestlers continued to fight even hours after their arrest and would return to Jantar Mantra as soon as the Delhi Police released them.
