he Odisha Police has obliterated record 220 tons (2, 20,000 Kg) of held onto Weed (pot/dry marijuana) and north of 78 Kg of earthy colored sugar (Heroin) in different cases in the beyond one year.

Official sources said that 220 tons of marijuana were held onto in 1434 cases while the earthy colored sugar was held onto in 129 cases. The police portrayed the obliteration of the held onto opiates as a complex lawful and regulatory cycle including the legal executive, police, measurable science research center, contamination, extract, income and focal Government's Central regulators, opium and Alkaloid divisions.
