 State-level Handloom Exhibition introduced in Puri

Of the 38 helpful social orders that have participated in this display, 33 are from Odisha and the rest five are from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir.



In front of Odisha's mass celebration Raja, a state-level Handloom Exhibition was initiated at Neelachal Metropolitan Haat in Puri on Sunday. Overseeing leader of Boyanika, Prakash Chandra Meher initiated the celebration.


On this event, Meher said since the planning of the exhibition is the Raja celebration; it would demonstrate advantageous for both the clients and weavers.


"Keeping Raja celebration in view, we are offering 10 to 20 percent rebate. Clients will be gigantically benefited," said Meher.


Boyanika's senior supervisor, Mili Samantaray said, "It is great that our weavers have kept their custom alive. Another significant thing is that they are contending with the weavers of different states. They are continually increasing the value of their items."


The fundamental target of the exhibition is to grandstand and sell different handloom results of the state.


Of the 38 helpful social orders that have participated in this display, 33 are from Odisha and the rest five are from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir.


Bandha materials of Odisha, Jamdani and Tangail of West Bengal, Chikankari of Lucknow, Pashmina cloak of Jammu and Kashmir and materials of Delhi and Haryana are accessible under one rooftop at the exhibition.
