The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 examination across various academies. Interested candidates must apply by June 4, 2024.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts on upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

Total Vacancy: 459 posts

Indian Military Academy's159th course: 100 posts
Indian Naval Academy course: 32 posts
Air Force Academy Pre-Flying Training course: 32 posts
Officers’ Training academy's 122nd SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) course: 276 posts
Officers Training Academy's 36th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) course: 19 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers’ Training Academy must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. For the Naval Academy, an engineering degree is necessary, while for the Air Force, candidates need either a graduation degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Application Fee

Candidates except Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee, are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.
