Ashok demands ₹25 lakh compensation to families of deceased in Chinnenahalli

Charging that the State government has placed strain on authorities to stow away "reality" behind the passing of six people because of utilization of debased water in Chinnenahalli town of Madhugiri taluk, Head of the Resistance in the Authoritative Gathering R. Ashok on Saturday requested a remuneration of ₹25 lakh to the groups of every one of the departed.

Addressing mediapersons subsequent to visiting the town, Mr. Ashok affirmed that the authorities had made the relatives of the departed to sign papers expressing that the passings were because of renal issues and liquor abuse. "They have the group of one of the departed to sign that the individual passed on because of complexities as he was a drunkard. However, the townspeople are saying that the individual had no such propensity," he said.

Expressing that it is the obligation of the public authority to give consumable water to individuals, Mr. Ashok said the public authority is liable for the passings. "I will bring this issue up in the official meeting," he added.
