Lady kills husband due to homegrown quarrel (domestic feud) in BALASORE; Arrested with brother-in-law

According to reports, Sulochana killed her better half, Ramesh, who beat her on important issues. Tired of repeated badgering and suffering, Sulochana killed Ramesh with a sharp weapon on 10 May;

The Balasore police have busted the mystery by arresting two persons including the dead man's wife and recovering the body of a man in a bag. The accused were identified as Sulochana and her brother-in-law.

According to reports, Sulochana killed her husband Ramesh, who used to beat her over petty issues. Fed up with repeated harassment and torture, Sulochana allegedly killed Ramesh on May 10 with a sharp weapon. After keeping the body at his residence, Sulochana conducted the autopsy with the help of his brother-in-law.

Balasor SP Sagarika Nath informed that Ramesh's body was recovered about 7 km from Balarampur village on May 12.

Nath said, "After recovering the body in two bags, we alerted all the nearby police stations to find out the identity of the deceased. At first we suspected the wife of the deceased and after interrogation she confessed to killing her husband."

Nath further informed that Sulochana's brother-in-law helped him throw Ramesh's body in a two-wheeler.

Nath added, “The murder weapon and two wheels and clothes of the deceased have been seized and further investigation is on.
