Four families were killed by their relatives over a land dispute in Bargarh, Odisha

On Monday late night, the accused barged into the victim's house and allegedly stabbed her nephew, daughter-in-law and son and daughter to death using a crowbar.
In a macabre act, four members of a family, including two minor children, were allegedly stabbed to death by their relatives over a land dispute. The incident has been reported from Jikijiki village under Bhatli police limits of Bargarh district.

The deceased have been identified as Gurdev Bagh, his wife Sibagri Bagh, son Chudamai (15) and daughter Shribani (10).

According to information, the accused named Siba Bagh and the family members of the victim had been encroached on a piece of land for a long time.

On Monday late night, the accused barged into the victim's house and allegedly stabbed her nephew, daughter-in-law and son and daughter to death with a crowbar.

After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and detained the accused.

The police also sealed the room where the dead body was lying in a pool of blood and recruited a scientific team for further investigation of the incident.
