Balasore: Two people were seriously injured after a group clash in Odisha's Balasore on Wednesday. One of the injured youths sustained bullet injuries while the other was attacked with sharp weapons.

The two injured persons have been identified as Pinku Das and Babul Das. Pinku was injured by bullets and Babul was attacked with sharp weapons.

According to reports, a group clash took place in Remuna Golei area under the Industrial Area Police Station of the district at around 6 pm today.

The reason behind the attack is said to be past enmity.

According to reports, a youth on the overbridge was shot at while the miscreants chased the other youth and attacked them with sharp weapons.

After the incident, the local people admitted the two injured to Remuna Hospital. Later, the bullet-injured youth was shifted to Balasore district headquarters hospital as his condition worsened.

The two seriously injured youths are said to be from Mandarpur area under Remuna police limits.
