Odisha BSE Matric Supplementary Exam: Check Form Filling, Exam Date & Other Details

Informing the media, BSE President Ramish Hazra said that form filling for supplementary examination will start from May 26 and continue till June 1, 2023.

Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has decided to continue the Supplementary Matric Examination to provide an opportunity to dropouts and former regular students.

Informing the media, BSE President Ramish Hazra said that form filling for supplementary examination will start from May 26 and continue till June 1, 2023.

Similarly, the supplementary examination will start from July 3 and continue till July 8, 2023. The BSE president informed that the detailed schedule of the examination will be published later.

The board today also announced major changes in the conduct of class 10 matric examination.

Informing the media about the change in the exam pattern, Hazra said, “There were two review exams in class 10 in the last two years. Now 10th class or matric examination will be conducted once every year. "

Apart from this, BSF has also decided to start half-yearly examination at the school level for which the board will issue question papers.

The board has informed that the BSE will not conduct the exam for class 9 students, instead it will only issue the question paper to the district education officer.

It is worth mentioning here that the annual High School Certificate (HSC) Summative Assessment-II examination 2023 was conducted from March 10 to 20. 5.32 lakh students appeared in 3,218 examination centers across the state. The overall pass percentage this year stands at 96.40% as compared to 90.55% last year.
