On May 28, Prime Minister Modi will join Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and dedicate the new Parliament House to the nation. The four-storey building can accommodate more than 1,200 MPs.
Built by Tata Projects Ltd, the new Parliament Building will showcase India's democratic heritage, a chamber for Members of Parliament, a library, multiple committee rooms, dining areas and ample parking space. The new parliament will have a new dress code in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
