The case has been enlisted on the solicitation of the Service of Railroads, assent of the Odisha Government, and further requests from the Division of Faculty and Preparing (DoPT), after the train mishap including Coromandel Express, Yashwantpur-Howrah Express and a products train at Bahanaga Bazar on June 2, 2023, the CBI informed.

While the CBI examination is in progress, Khordha Street DRM, Rinkesh Roy had prior thought 'actual altering' behind the mishap.
"There was a green sign on the primary line. The sign is generally green when all the pre-conditions expected for the sign to become environmentally viable are great. On the off chance that any of the pre-conditions are not satisfied, the sign can never become green except if and until anybody truly alters the sign framework. Yet, from the information records, it shows that when Coromandel Express was arriving at the station, the sign was green, yet the train moved to the circle line," said Roy.
